（四） 不定式被動式的用法。 不定式到底用主動式還是被動式，往往取決于句子的意思，意思為主動用主動形式，意思上為被動用被動形式。a great deal of work remains to be done . i was delighted to be invited to her party.

（五） 不定式主動形式表示被動意義的幾種情況。
1. 不定式 to blame , to let 做表語時通常用主動表示被動。 who is to blame? the house is to let.
2. 在“be +adj+ to do ”結構中通常用主動形式表示被動意義。 常用于此結構的形容詞有hard ,easy, difficult, dangerous, convenient, interesting, impossible, safe, nice, tough, unpleasant, awkward 等
the book is difficult to understand. the place is easy to reach. english is hard to learn.
（六） 不定式的否定式。 通常是把否定詞not, never 置于不定式之前，即構成not to do, never to do 的形式，注意not和never一定要放在不定式符號to 的前面，而不是其后面。
be careful not to fall. go in quietly so as not to wake the boy. the driver was not to blame for the traffic accident.
注意若不定式為完成式和被動式，否定詞應置于整個結構之前。 how foolish i was not to have bought it!

四： 既可接to do 也可接ing形式的詞，但表達意義不同的詞如下：
