[教學目標]
知識：學生能掌握四會單詞 picnic, play, take part in.. concert, outing, beijing opera show, singing contest, sports meeting.
技能：學生能會讀和拼寫b部分的單詞
能力：能初步運用所學的詞匯進行交流what are you going to do...? we're going to...
情意：培養學生樂于開口說英語的好習慣

能初步運用本課所學語言描述將要發生的動作
對策：通過游戲和練習的形式加以鞏固和記憶

準備本課b部分的課件及錄音機和磁帶
[教學過程]
step1 organization
1.warm up
1) listen to a rhyme: seasons.
可以采用競賽的形式讓學生來念兒歌，這樣有利于調動課堂的學生氣氛。
2)everyday english
2.free talk （日常用語問答是應盡量用一些書本上學到的四會或三會句型，以便在學習新知時很好地復習舊知。）

t: what day is it today? ss: it's ....
t: what date is it today？ s1: it's ... of ....
t: what's the weather like today? s2:it's....
設計意圖：歌曲的導入，有利于調動課堂的氣氛和學生的熱情，可根據實際情況多唱幾遍，直至學生進入一種積極的學習狀態。
除了師生之間的對話，還可以采用學生之間的對話來復習所學的知識，充分考慮到全體學生，使他們每一個人都有說英語的機會。
3.revision
以“seasons”為主題，做一個對話表演或編一個小短文。
要求學生編對話，可能有一些難度，教師應適當加以指導和示范，讓學生明確任務。（修改：除示范之外，教師可給學生提供一些關鍵的單詞詞組，以此來降低學生自編對話的難度，又可提高學生的學習興趣。）

2. teach this sentence
教師用課件播放有關周末活動的動畫，讓學生對教學內容有 個感性的認識。然后拿出一些關于周末活動的圖片（可使用b部分的教學圖片），老師通過在黑板上貼圖的方式創設情境向學生介紹周末活動。
