1 出示本課會話中的人物圖片jim并做介紹
jim is a new student in ben’s class. he lives near ben. ben and jim often go home together after school. today, ben is visiting jim. they are in jim’s room. they are talking about ben’s birthday. 通過介紹jim引出單詞birthday,教師板書單詞birthday,試著讓學生拼讀,后操練這個單詞。

2 出示一個包裝好的禮品,教師提問:what’s this? it’s a present.
教師重復a present三遍,讓學生靜聽,后模仿、跟讀。
3 教師繼續提問:what would you like as a birthday present? i’d like….引導學生回答。
4 運用剛才所學句型進行操練,教師問,學生回答。

5 運用剛才所學句型小組內學生進行交流。
