家庭成員和人體部位的單詞，在前均已出現過，學生在聽說方面已熟悉，教師重點在讀、寫方面的指導。教師可利用b部分的家譜圖學習家庭成員單詞。
要求學生仔細看圖，觀察六位成員的服裝特點，并試著用the one in the …is john’s …的句式來介紹john一家，復習鞏固家庭成員的單詞。
教師指著自己身體，說：this is my mouth. i have a small mouth.
these are my eyes. i have two big eyes. 學習人體部位的單詞，同時學會如何去描述自己的外貌特征。
