教師出示表格如下:

(第一遍跟著錄音唱,第二遍唱之前可通過問答的形式把關鍵信息填入事先準備好的學科教師調查表內,再讓大家看著表的內容唱,滲透培養收集整理信息的能力)
(2)教師風采
。i’:sounds great!but who is your math teacher?what’s he like?can you fill in this table by yourself?
(引導學生描述自己的老師,同時通過讓學生填寫表格,檢測上節課單詞的掌握情況,以便及時確定這節課是否要把拼寫再做要求。)

(教師鼓勵學生把表格內容整理成一段話,滲透語言綜合能力的培養,并可根據情況先四人小組內交流,這樣也可擴大語言訓練面。)
2.presentation(呈現)
(1)let’stry
教師出示a let’stry部分的掛圖。
t:please look at this picture.how many peopleare there?what are they doing?what’s he like?(asksome students to talk about this picture.)
(在做聽力題前,引導學生觀察相應插圖,通過幾個問題描述圖畫內容,從而猜測出題意圖,滲透聽力微技能的培養。)
t:now,let’s listen and circle on your books.
(2)let’s talk
①t:let’s go on listening.(play the tape andpresent the part oflet’s talk)
(鯽:now,listen and read after the tape.
③t:then answer my questions:who’s hismath teacher?what’s he like?
(從let’s try直接可以過渡到let’s talk的教學。通過聽音回答問題的方式出示對話的關鍵詞,以方便學生快速掌握對話和替換對話,其實也在逐步進行學法指導。)板書如下:math teacher?mr.zhao.like?thin,short,kind
④學生齊讀、小組讀、同桌讀對話。
(這一步適當的機械性操練是非常必要的,它是學生靈活運用語言點的基礎。教師可引導同學們分大組、兩人小組等形式進行操練,最后引導學生看板書背出對話,循序漸進,做到這一步應該不困難了。)

3.practice/consolidation(操練/鞏固)
magic match game
教師準備三組圖片,分別為各科老師類(或相應能表示人物特征的圖片),姓氏類(用mr.,miss,mrs.加姓氏表示),人物特征類(如 smart,strong)讓三位同學各抽一張圖片后同時出示,全班同學提問,這三位同學回答,如果能換上同學們熟悉的真實人物來進行這個游戲,則更具挑戰性和趣味性。
