1. 準(zhǔn)備錄音機(jī)和第五單元的磁帶
2. 一些著名中外城市的圖片,最好有明顯的季節(jié)體現(xiàn)
3 一些季節(jié)和天氣的圖片
[教學(xué)過程]
step1. 說說唱唱
spring, spring, spring, it's warm, warm, warm,
summer, summer, summer, it's hot, hot, hot,
autumn, autumn ,autumn, it's cool, cool, cool,
winter, winter, winter, it's snowy, snowy, snowy,
windy, windy, windy, it's beijing, windy city,

設(shè)計(jì)意圖:通過歌謠的誦讀,能夠讓學(xué)生對每個(gè)季節(jié)的氣候現(xiàn)象加深印象,同時(shí)也能夠調(diào)動(dòng)學(xué)生學(xué)習(xí)的積極性。
教師在讓學(xué)生說歌謠時(shí),可以出示一些相應(yīng)的背景音樂,這樣可以提供一點(diǎn)音樂感和氣氛。
step2. free talk. the topic is "weather".

讓學(xué)生自由談?wù)撘恍┏鞘械臍夂颉?br>(修改:在教學(xué)的過程中可以讓學(xué)生根據(jù)實(shí)際情況進(jìn)行問答,但是特別要注意的是“what was the weather like yesterday?”)
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:現(xiàn)學(xué)現(xiàn)用,讓學(xué)生復(fù)習(xí)所學(xué)的知識(shí),起到及時(shí)鞏固作用。
教師可以和學(xué)生進(jìn)行對話,接著讓學(xué)生之間互相交流,讓他們自由運(yùn)用。
step3.look and say
以小組為單位選一幅圖談?wù)摗?br>s1: what's the weather like in spring in beijing. s2: it's windy.
step4. teach "because"
t: i'm wearing three sweaters. because it's cold.
i'm drinking some water. because it's hot.
teach “because” and make a sentence with “because”
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:單獨(dú)引出because的運(yùn)用,可以讓學(xué)生學(xué)得比較牢固。
教師在教授because這一句型時(shí)可以直接教授which season do you like best?because it's... i can...這樣一方面為學(xué)生節(jié)省學(xué)習(xí)新知識(shí)的時(shí)間,另一方面也能夠直接步入這節(jié)課的主題。
step5. teach i like ... best. because it's... i can...
t: i like winter best. because it's snowy. i can make a snowman.
t:,which season do you like best?(滲透句型)
s:i like best . s: because it’s…… .i can ……。
學(xué)生以小組為單位,表達(dá)自己喜歡哪個(gè)季節(jié),并說明原因。
(修改:教師在教授best這一單詞時(shí),應(yīng)該為學(xué)生解釋一下best的運(yùn)用,讓學(xué)生有個(gè)了解。)
step6.操練對話which season do you like best?
i like.. why? because it's ... i can...
t: which season do you like best? s: i like summer. because it's hot. i can swim in the sea.
(修改:在這里教師可以教學(xué)which season do you like best?i like …的同義句what’s your favourite season? my favourite season is …)
設(shè)計(jì)意圖:操練的目的在于讓學(xué)生復(fù)習(xí)這節(jié)課所學(xué)的知識(shí),檢查學(xué)生對這堂課的掌握情況。
