讀下面句子來了解冠詞的基本用法。
here is a picture of our classroom. in the picture there is a door. the door is closed…
這是一張我們教室的圖片,圖片上有個門,門是關(guān)著的。句中的a 一（個）的意思，the picture 指的是前面提到的我們教室的那張圖片，所以用the。the door 指的是圖中的那個門，所以前面也用the。
冠詞用法還很多，也很復雜，隨著學習的深入我們還會接觸到許多其它用法。
二、疑問句: 疑問句是用來提出問題。英語中有四種疑問句、一般疑問句、特殊疑問句、選擇疑問句和反意疑問句。下面只介紹一般疑問句和特殊疑問句。
1. 一般疑問句: 英語中用“是”或“不是” ( yes或no ) 來回答的句子叫一般疑問句。
如：1. is it a cat? yes, it is. \ no, it isn’t
2.are you mary? yes，i am. \ no, i am not.
3.can you skate? yes, i can \ no, i can’t.
4.do you study english? yes, i do\ no, i don’t
在含有be（am ，is ，are）動詞的句子中一般疑問句的構(gòu)成是，將be（am，is，are）動詞置于句首并大寫，后面接主語，再加其它成份，句末加問號即可。如上面例句1和2。
2.特殊疑問句:
用疑問詞來提問題的疑問句，叫特殊疑問句英語習慣叫作wh-question。英語的疑問詞一般放在句首。常見的疑問詞有 what， who, which, when, where, why, how等。特殊疑問句不能簡單用“是”或“不是”（yes或 no ）回答，要求回答具體內(nèi)容。
如.1. what’s your name ? my name is mary.
2. how old are you ? i’m nine.
3. what’s this ? it’s an apple.
4. what’s the shape ? it’s a circle.
