t:大家想知道老師為什么長得這么健壯嗎?因為我堅持正確的飲食方法和鍛煉身體。只要你們能夠堅持正確的飲食方法和鍛煉,也一定能有一個好身體。look! i am stronger than you. you are thinner than me. 在原來的板書thin后面用紅色筆加上ner.領讀并拼讀單詞。告訴學生像thin這樣的單詞,在變為比較級時,要雙寫最后一個字母再加er.

t: 教師出示測量體重的健康稱,測量自己的體重說并:i am 52 kg heavy. how heavy are you?”引導學生用“i am … kg heavy.”回答問題。
板書:kg=kilogram 領讀,拼讀單詞并練習說句子。讓學生理解在實際句子中應該使用復數形式。如:i am 52 kg heavy.應讀作:“i am fifty-two kilograms heavy.”

(3)教師指一學生問:how old are you?

t: i am 35 years old. i am older than you. you are younger than me.

設計意圖:利用大家都非常熟悉的名人劉翔和姚明引入新單詞taller和shorter的學習,形象直觀,便于學生接受。而在學習stronger和thinner的時候,則直接用教師和學生的實際體重做為教學資源,讓學生在實際生活中學習新知識。同時教育學生注意正確的飲食和鍛煉,樹立正確的健康觀。chant是小學生學習英語時最喜歡的練習方式,在學習新知時,用chant 加深學生的印象,便他們牢固掌握新學單詞。

設計意圖:只有聽得準才能模仿得準,說得好。所以聽錄音模仿語音、語調是學習英語中非常重要的一步。合作學習,小組互助既有利于學生合作精神的養成,也有助于每個學生都更好得掌握讀音。
