教學內容
b let’s read c story time
教學目標
1、能夠讀懂let’s read部分，并能判斷短文后的句子是否正確。
2、能夠理解c story time 的故事。
3、幫助學生建立自覺遵守交通規則的觀念，并了解不同國家交通規則的異同。
教學重點難點
重點：理解句型：in china/the us, drivers drive on the …of the road.
難點：學生對文化差異的了解。
教學準備
錄音機和錄音帶
教學過程
1、熱身
（1）教師說口令，學生做動作。（有關于紅綠燈等的口令）
2、預習
教師舉起左手，說：this is my left hand. show me your left hand! then, show me your right hand.確定學生能夠區分左右之后，請學生上臺做動作：turn left, turn right, turn back.
3、新課呈現
let’s read
（1）教師站在課前畫好的分道線的右側，往前走，邊走邊說：now i’m walking on the right side of the road. i know the traffic rules. do you think so?教師重復該句并板書：walk on the right side of the road.教師再沿路的左側往前走，請一名學生描述：you are walking on the left side of the road.教師板書句子：walk on the left side of the road.組織學生討論：which is right and which is wrong?
（2）教師接下來說：in different countries, traffic lights are the same, but the traffic rules are different .請學生打開書本第九頁，教師問：what’s the difference between the two pictures? which picture is about china and the us? which one is about england and australia?教師引導學生從短文中找出答案：….教師領讀句子。
（3）學生閱讀短文，完成文中的判斷題。
（4）教師放let’s read部分的錄音，學生跟讀。

unit 2 教學設計
第一課時
一、教學設計思路
本課時的主要教學內容是一些公共場所詞匯和問路的句型。本課時教學中，教師首先通過歌曲 “they are in the zoo.” 以及出示表示方位的圖片進行師生問答導入；然后進行本單元主要詞匯和句型的學習，在掌握詞匯的基礎上，通過let’s start和let’s chant對所學詞匯和句型進行鞏固；最后通“猜猜我在哪”游戲讓學生在游戲中進一步鞏固所學知識。
二、教學目標
（一）知識
1. 聽、說、讀、寫單詞：hospital, cinema, post office, bookstore。
2. 聽、說、認讀短語：science museum。
3. 聽、說、認讀句型：“where is the library? it’s near the post office.
（二）能力
1. 能夠理解并會吟唱let's chant的歌謠。
2. 能夠聽懂并基本會唱歌曲 “where are you going?”
（三）情感
1. 培養學生團結友愛，樂于助人的良好品質。引導學生養成良好的英語學習習慣。
2. 引導學生在學習中注重合作學習。
3. 培養學生文化意識，幫助學生養成良好的日常行為習慣。
三、教學重難點
掌握let's learn部分的四會單詞和短語。
準確書寫四會單詞和掌握三會單詞museum的發音。
四、教學媒體
1.準備start部分的教學掛圖。
2.教師準備錄音機、本課時的錄音帶以及三年級下冊第六單元歌曲的錄音帶。
3.教師準備五年級上冊第五單元b let's learn部分的教學掛圖。
