1、review the flashcards for this unit. hold up the flashcards for restaurant. ask, “what’s this?” elicit, “it’s a restaurant.” 2、repeat for menu and hot dog. 3、then i’ll hold up the flashcard for vegetables. ask, “what are these?” elicit, “they are vegetables.” then hold up the flashcard for fruit. 1、ask students to look at the screen and read these words with it. then i’ll ask students to say what i point to. 2、then practice the sentence style. t: ok, now please look at screen and tell me. what do you like? t: ok. what don’t you like? 3、t: does like …? then tell them where we should use “does”, where we should use “doesn’t” 4、then do some exercises. 1、ask students to talk about these six pictures. t: what does ken like? then do the listening. ask them to do it for the first time and check the answer for the second time. ask students to open their books and talk about the picture. t: what’s this? then ask them to look at the screen and listen to the song. then let’s sing it together with it. s: it’s a restaurant. they read the words. s: they are vegetables. they read these words. then they read the word that i point to. they practice the sentence style. s: i like … s: i don’t like … s: yes, he does. no, he doesn’t. they do the exercises. s: he likes fruit. s: this is a train. they sing the song.
