教學重點
1.句型：熟練運用it’s warm / hot / cold / cool in ….。
2.詞匯：cold、cool、hot、warm、weather的聽、說、認讀。
教學難點
單詞weather的發音；熟練運用本課句型進行有關于氣的介紹。
教具準備
單詞卡片、城市名稱的卡片若干、錄音機
教學過程
(一)warm-up
free talk
t: 教師手指自己的衣服說：i am wearing a sweater.
what are you wearing? ss: i’m wearing a jacket/shirt…
(二)presentation
1.單詞導呈
（1）教學weather report
t：（師出示天氣預報的圖片）look! this is the weather report.直接引出weather report.
ss:看天氣預報。
t: they are watching a weather report .(師板書weather report，教讀單詞)
（2）教學warm
t: what’s the weather like?(出示春天的圖片)
ss: 暖和。
t: yes, it’s warm(師板書并教讀，而且指出ar的發音)
what’s the weather like in beijing?
t: it’s warm in beijing.
（3）教學cool /it’s cool in lhasa. it’s cold in harbin. it’s hot in hong kong
用相同的方法教學以上句子，在課本的地圖上指出相應城市的位置。
2.師領讀生跟讀。
3.聽讀正音。聽錄音跟讀。
4.合作學習。（以小組為單位讀單詞及句子.）
(三)practice
利用圖片猜天氣。（強化學生認識在同一季節，不同的地點的天氣是有差異的）例如：出示最北邊的漠河，最南邊的海南，最東邊的青島，最西邊的蘭州。ss：cool./it’s cool in lanzhou.（學生根據自己的實際情況說cool或者it’s cool in lanzhou.）
(四)production
借助上面的環節，讓學生分組仿照課文表演一個城市天氣預報.good morning. this is the weather report. it’s …in…每人預報兩個城市的天氣。練習后，教師找幾個組來在班里表演，并及時做出評價。

試一試給朋友、家長預報天氣，用到句型it’s warm / hot / cold / cool in…

4.了解華氏與攝氏的區別。

句型：can i wear my…? yes，you can./no, you can’t. it’s cold today.
教學難點
can i wear my…? 問答中的人稱轉換。
教學準備
單詞卡片和圖片。
教學過程
(一)warm-up
1.教師播放第三單元的歌曲“my clothes”，生齊唱，復習服裝類名詞。
2.快速出示有關衣服和天氣的簡筆畫圖片，看誰的反應最快！快速說出的可給一個小貼片予以獎勵。
3.接著讓學生將剛復習過的的服裝類名詞歸類：clothes for warm\ cool\hot \ cold days，為下面即將學習的對話進行鋪墊。
