教學過程
(一)preparation
free talk
教師自制簡易的城市天氣預報的掛圖，然后提問：
t:what’s the weather like in …? ss:it is…
t: what are you doing?(如果學生不會，就問)
ss:not much.
(二)presentation
情景導入
(1)教師指著外面問：what’s the weather like in hainan?學生根據實際來回答。教師板書并且領讀what’s the weather like in …?
(2)然后教師展示不同地方的天氣，讓學生簡單的進行詢問。
教師展示世界地圖指著new york問：how about…? 引導學生根據地圖中的天氣標志來回答。反復利用3-5個城市操練how about，讓學生在問答中理解how about…?的功能。
(三)practice.
1.對話。

2.操練。讓學生根據各地不同的天氣，進行一問一答。
