難點：能充分理解并大致講述let’s read部分的故事梗概。

一.preparation
（1）sing a song: “the way i feel”。
（2）free talk:
what day is it today? what’s the weather like today? do you like sports? do you like sports/football?
【設計意圖】 通過一首歌曲和師生之間的問候拉近師生之間的距離，營造英語學習的氛圍。
二.pre-reading
1.教師拿出準備好的一個球，引導學生做“聽聽做做”活動，讓學生熟悉與球賽相關的動詞pass the ball, throw the ball,catch the ball等,并然后將學生分成兩隊team a和team b.并準備好盒子和球，各隊選幾名隊員依次把球投到盒子里，看哪隊進球多，教師根據活動的進程逐一呈現單詞和短語a ball match.between,goal,win the game. （板書）教師拿出球并指短語，領學生讀，緊接著再換一個足球，在ball前加上foot，組成a football match領學生讀。
【設計意圖】通過設計本活動，排除閱讀前的障礙， 降低學習難度，增加學生的學習積極性。
2.教師說：“there is a football match between class 1 and class 2 in zhang peng’s school today”.在黑板上寫出between…and….然后教師找兩個學生上臺分別站在自己的兩邊，說：“i am between and ”.讓學生理解between …and…的含義。
三、in-reading
1、（1）略讀。快速默讀短文，根據短文判斷劃出不會的單詞或短語，并回答以下問題：
which class won the game?
how many goals did they get?
（2）細讀。仔細默讀短文，圈出重要句子，并在小組內討論，回答以下兩個問題：
who got the first goal?
who got the second goal?
how did they get the second goal?
（3）精讀。學生自由閱讀1-2遍，然后完成短文后的問題，并與同桌互相討論、交流。教師校對答案。
