教學流程 pre-task preparation
1. have a dictation.
2. t: this is my dog. it’s lovely. do you like it?
t: i can’t find my dog. where is it now?
 teach the new sentences: he was …
3. play the cassette: look and say. the students listen and follow in their books.
4. play again. the students listen and repeat.
5. work in pairs. the students role-play the dialogue.
6. read the notice:’lost dog’, and invite different students to repeat the sentences.
7. read: write a report. the students help you to complete the report orally.
while-task procedure
 distribute a copy of photocopiable page 32 to each student. explain the task. the students fill in the missing words to complete the report.
post-task activity

2. write different times of the day on the board. invite different students to tell you where they were yesterday at those times, e.g. where were you at eleven o’clock?

教學效果的反饋     本節課的內容是教授過去式，同學們第一次接觸此時態，學困生還是不能很好的理解，在后面的教學中要不斷的鞏固和操練，讓他們慢慢的感知。對兩個特殊疑問句what day is it today? 和what’s the date today? 部分同學總是易混，在閱讀理解中總是答錯。少數同學把were讀成where，需指導。
