1) ask the students to read and spell the words in part b together and then give the chinese meanings of them and ask the students to try to speak out the correctly english versions and check to see if they have been well mastered.
2) ask them to read the dialogues in part c and part d together and then ask the students to do a pair work to practice the dialogues and then ask pairs to present their dialogues and see if they have been well mastered.

2) 出示對話插圖,導入對話背景:it is friday afternoon. school is over. the students are talking about their weekends.教學單詞talk以及相關短語talk about。
3) 引導學生觀察掛圖后自由讀對話并討論完成以下表格:

mike go climbing, listen to music, go to the cinema
helen watch tv, do housework
4) 用問答的方式進一步鞏固對對話內容的了解,如:how does…spend his/her weekends? he/she often… sometimes he/she…
5) 聽錄音一到兩遍,整體認知對話內容。穿插教學短語learn…from…, of course.
6) 多種方式練習朗讀對話并理解每個句子的意思。
7) 補充短語:talk about, learn from, go climbing, do housework, of course, catch insects, watch cartoons.
