【教學(xué)目標(biāo)】
知識：能聽說讀寫單詞country, china, chinese, uk, british, usa, american, australia, australian
技能：能初步將新學(xué)的國家和國籍類單詞放進(jìn)句子i’m from… i’m…進(jìn)行操練
能力：能準(zhǔn)確流利地說出所學(xué)的四個(gè)國家、國籍和人的單詞
情意：培養(yǎng)學(xué)生樂于開口說英語，并用英語進(jìn)行交流的習(xí)慣

【教學(xué)過程】
（一）warming-up
1) free talk
設(shè)計(jì)意圖：口語的練習(xí)有助于培養(yǎng)學(xué)生的英語口語水平同時(shí)也鍛煉學(xué)生的聽力水平因?yàn)樗鼈冎g是相輔相成的。
（與隨讀生進(jìn)行對話）
用what day is it today? what lessons do you have in the morning? what subject do you like ? how are you? what’s the matter with you ? 等日常交際用語進(jìn)行交談。（在進(jìn)行日常用語交流時(shí)可讓學(xué)生相互之間進(jìn)行也可讓學(xué)生來問老師，以增加學(xué)生的興趣。）
2) sing a song: play the tape of the song learnt in unit3 and ask the students to sing the song together and then do a group work to sing the song and which group does a better job. （鼓勵(lì)隨讀生一起唱歌）
3) ask the students to do a group work to think for a while about the interesting or unforgettable thing happened before and try to tell them out in english and then ask groups to come to the front and try to tell their stories and see which group does a better job to tell the stories better.
（二）presentation
設(shè)計(jì)意圖：通過教師的創(chuàng)設(shè)情境進(jìn)入學(xué)習(xí)內(nèi)容階段，從而減輕學(xué)生對句子內(nèi)容的理解力。
1、由“你知道世界上的哪些國家？”引出單詞country及其復(fù)數(shù)countries.
2、（出示圖文卡片，教學(xué)八個(gè)國家和國籍類單詞china, chinese, uk, british, usa, american, australia, australian.并引導(dǎo)學(xué)生拼讀和書寫。）其中，uk也可稱為england, usa也可成為america。教學(xué)較長單詞時(shí)可采用分解教學(xué)法，如：bri-tish, a-me-ri-can, aus-tra-lia等。（指導(dǎo)隨讀生讀簡單的單詞）
（教師通過自我介紹導(dǎo)入新句子i’m from china. i’m chinese.學(xué)生在理解后模仿造句，可自由設(shè)想）
i’m from the uk/england. i’m british.
i’m from the usa/america. i’m american.
i’m from australia. i’m australian.
3、通過辨認(rèn)國旗或各國標(biāo)志性的建筑來鞏固國家類單詞。如：美國的自由女神像、中國的長城、英國的霧都、澳大利亞的水城。
4、設(shè)計(jì)連線題，鞏固相關(guān)的國家和國籍，再次練說i’m from… i’m…
