重點語法 1.在英語中，形容詞有三個等級，即原級、比較級和最高級。如：old, older, oldest.
形容詞比較級的構成：
（1） 一般形容詞直接在詞的末尾加er 如taller。
（2） 以 e 結尾的形容詞只加 如：nicer, larger, braver，later。
（3） 以重讀閉音節結尾的單詞，詞的末尾只有一個輔音字母，就雙寫這個字母加er
如：bigger, fatter, thinner,gladder.
（4） 以輔音字母加y結尾的形容詞，變y為i加er如: heavier,happier,earlier.
（5）一些雙音節詞和多音節詞前加more,如：more beautiful, more careful
（6）比較級的特殊形式：good, well---better, bad, ill----worse, far---farther,
old---older, many—more.
2.兩個人，兩個物或者兩個方面比較時，用比較級，一般用than。（不能用人和物來比較）
sb1+be+比較級+than+sb2
如：tom is taller than mike.
this box is heavier than that one.
