field trip. they are divided into two groups. one is the group of birds and animals. the other is the group of
plants. let’s see what they are doing. 教師問：what is zhang peng doing？ 引導(dǎo)學(xué)生回答：he is watching a fish.
教師說：so, he belongs to group a. 教師指導(dǎo)學(xué)生將zhang peng的名字寫進a組的名單里。 學(xué)生兩人一組或四人一組，進行
問答練習(xí)。 請幾位學(xué)生匯報討論結(jié)果。
（2）教師出示let’s try三幅圖片。引導(dǎo)學(xué)生就圖片內(nèi)容提問：who are they？ what are they doing？ 請幾位同學(xué)就畫面
進行描述。 此時教師可以就畫面提問，引出本課的重點句型：are they …？引導(dǎo)學(xué)生用yes，they are. / no, they aren’
t.進行回答。 教師播放let’s try錄音，學(xué)生聽錄音，選擇。 教師再次播放錄音，訂正答案。如果學(xué)生能力能夠達到，可以
讓學(xué)生進行原文重復(fù)。
（3）教師在黑板上貼好四至五組人物圖片如：mike and wu yifan，sarah and amy，提問：who are they？，讓學(xué)生回答：
they are…。 教師把catching butterflies的單詞短語卡片面朝下貼在第一組人物的下面，說：guess， what are they
doing？引導(dǎo)學(xué)生用are they…？猜。 教師把不同的單詞短語的卡片面朝下分別貼在每組人物的下面，繼續(xù)游戲。
（4）請兩名學(xué)生上臺，一起做一個動作，教師問：are they catching butterflies？教師引導(dǎo)其他學(xué)生根據(jù)看到的動作判斷
，如果對，就回答：yes，they are. 否則，就回答： no, they aren’t.需要注意的是，這里要選取容易做動作表現(xiàn)的短語。
學(xué)生理解游戲規(guī)則后，再請兩名學(xué)生作一個動作，請學(xué)生試著來猜：are they…？其他學(xué)生判斷：yes， they are./ no, they
aren’t.
(5)教師在黑板上畫一棵樹，問：what is it？引導(dǎo)學(xué)生回答： it is a tree. 然后，教師再畫一些樹并介紹說： what is it
now? it is a woods. 教師板書woods，學(xué)生跟讀單詞。 教師在小樹林里畫兩個人，問：where are they?引導(dǎo)學(xué)生回答：
they are in the woods. 學(xué)生學(xué)說句子：where are they? they are in the woods.
教師根據(jù)對話提出幾個問題： what is john doing？ where are the students？ are they catching butterflies？ are
they picking up leaves？
what are his classmates doing？
(6)教師播放錄音，學(xué)生帶著問題聽。
(7)學(xué)生試著回答問題。教師訂正答案。
(8)學(xué)生打開書，教師再次播放錄音，學(xué)生跟讀對話。
4、consolidation and extension （鞏固和延伸）
(1)let’s play
教師請一名學(xué)生上來背對大家，再請兩名學(xué)生上來向臺下的學(xué)生展示一個單詞短語，然后一起做卡片上的動作，如：catching
butterflies，臺下的學(xué)生一起問：what are they doing？站在前面的學(xué)生用are they…？句型來猜卡片上的短語。
(2)good to know
教師說：let’s go on a field trip. ok? what do we need? 引導(dǎo)學(xué)生進行思考，說出他們能夠想到的所有物品。教師帶領(lǐng)
學(xué)生看書中所列的物品名稱。教師結(jié)合戶外野營用品介紹相關(guān)知識。
