hope：希望。常用詞語，其后不能接不定式復合結構。例如：

例231：i hope you’ll visit china again.
不說：i hope you to visit china again.
wish：盼望。常用于比較難于實現的愿望。例如：
例232：i wish to visit china again!
例233：i wish you to visit china again!
例234：i wish you would visit china again! （此處有虛擬的含義）
expect：期盼，期待。例如：
例235：i am expecting you to visit china again!
long：渴望。例如：
例236：i am longing to visit china again!

例238：she is longing for the chance to speak to him in private.
（她渴望有機會能私下里跟他交談。）
desire：愿望，欲望。相當于hope for，wish for，long for。例如：

47.hurt / injure / wound / harm / damage / destroy
hurt：傷害（常用詞，包括外傷和感情傷害）；疼痛（此時用作不及物動詞）。例如：
例240：i hurt myself in the leg when i fell off the bike the other day, and it still hurts now.

injure：受傷。常指意外或事故傷害。例如：
