1. bring in the food and drinks taught in this unit. put the food in a plastic bag.
2. mime being hungry. take out one of the foods from the bag. say i like (name of food). do you like (name of food)? write the name of the food on the board.
3. take the other foods and drinks out of the bag and repeat this process.
4. arrange the food and drinks on the teacher’s desk. ask a pupil to come out. ask the pupil, e.g. do you like potato chips? if the pupil answers yes or yes, i do, pretend to give the pupil the potato chips. repeat with the other pupils and different types of food and drink.
5. show transparency. play the pupil’s book cassette and point to the speech bubbles. ask the pupils to repeat after the cassette.
