教師將學過的字母卡片分發給學生，讓學生熟讀該字母。教師說一個以所學字母開頭的單詞。學生舉起該單詞起始字母的字母卡片。活動繼續下去，讓更多的學生舉起手中的字母卡片。
（四）擴展性活動（add-activities）
1.叫一名學生在班里走動，站在一名學生的后面。
2.教師舉起一張本單元的單詞圖片。先正確地說出這個單詞第一個字母的讀音的學生坐下，另一名學生繼續在班里走動，繼續活動。
