四、教學內容與分析
1. just speak
情景會話:kate和媽媽—起到游樂園去玩兒,恰好遇到好朋友zhou pei,kate和媽媽談論zhou pei的有關情況。本部分主要學習如何描述人的外貌特征。
行動目標:在情景中學習如何觀察并用英語描寫人的外貌特征。
重點聚焦:she is a pretty girl. she has beautiful long hair and big bright eyes. she is cute and active.
滾動項目:who's that girl? she is my new friend.what's her name? her name is zhou pei.how old is she? she is ten.is she good at her school work? yes, she is good at chinese, math sand science.
讀圖向導:引導學生注意觀察zhou pei的外貌特征,觀察kate和mum的表情,通過人物的著裝和周圍景色判斷故事發生的季節。
五、課前準備
1. 準備本課的學生卡片、教師—卡片、教學掛圖、投影片、錄音磁帶。
2. 準備kate,zhou pei和mum的頭飾。
3. 提前布置學生準備自己和家人的照片或收集其他人物肖像。
六、教學步驟與建議
1. 熱身/復習 (warming-up/revision)
檢查上節課布置學生編寫的chants,讓學生朗讀自己的chant,向全班展示。然后,師生共同評出節奏明快、內容好的chants,貼在英語墻報上,供大家學習。
2. 新課導入 (presentation)
1) 展示教學掛圖,也可以在黑板上模仿課本的情景畫簡筆畫,先讓學生觀察,然后教師提出以下問題。如果是簡筆畫,教師可以邊畫邊提問。where is this? who is this girl? who is this woman? do you know?can you guess what they are talking about?
2) 鼓勵學生觀察,猜測問題的答案,然后教師指著掛圖或簡筆畫介紹會話背景:
this is in a theme park.the girl is kate and the woman is her mother.today is saturday. kate and her mum go to the theme park. they meet zhou pei.zhou pei is kate's new friend. kate and her mother are talking about her.
3) 介紹完背景后,開始播放會話錄音。教師先提出以下幾個問題,讓學生帶著問題邊聽邊思考。how old is zhou pei? zhou pei's hair long or short? are zhou pei's eyes big or small? is zhou pei good at her school work?
教師注意觀察學生的反應,可根據學生理解的情況多放幾遍錄音,直到多數 學生能聽出問題的答案。教師提問幾個學生并核實正確答案:zhou pei is ten.she has long (beautiful) hair and her eyes are big (and bright).yes, she is good at her school work.
