二、單元教材分析
本單元在what’s this/that? 的基礎上，進一步引導學生運用一般疑問句is this/that? 去確認周圍的常見事物。為配合“認物”這一項功能項目的展開，本單元所教詞匯也可以日常生活中的一些常見物品為主。應注意的是，問句中的this 或 在回答時要用that 替代，以避免重復。
教過may i come in? 后，教師可要求學生在每次進入教師辦公室或上英語課遲到時，堅持用may i come in? 代替漢語的“報告”。教師也應用come in, please. 回答。
