教師在黑板上畫一個未成型的物品，讓學生以提問的形式進行猜測，引導學生用“is this/that a/an …說出自己的想象物，教師添加幾筆后再繼續問，直到所畫物品明確為止。
b.利用課本上6幅未完成的畫進行猜測問答游戲，鼓勵創新思維。

一、教學要求：
1、 能聽懂、會說單詞：grandfather, grandmother, father, mother, aunt, uncle, brother, sister, son, daughter, a friend和a family photo.

3、能正確聽說讀寫單詞：a boy, a girl, a man。
4、能正確區別he和she，并能熟練運用。
5、能掌握單詞photo的正確讀音。

二、單元教材分析：
本單元的教學內容是“認人”，與第二單元的“認物”有相似之處，只是將確認物品轉化為認識的朋友的家庭成員，結構上仍然圍繞一般疑問句展開。詞匯在book 3a第三單元的基礎上增加了七個：grandfather, grandmother, aunt, uncle, brother, sister, son, daughter, a friend. 新授內容較少。
在學生進行““認人”操練時，教師應特別重視情景的引入。情景引入必須有助于刺激學生的交際動機，使學生自然產生詢問的欲望，并鼓勵學生用多種已學句型進行操練。
