care for表示“關心,照料,喜歡”,如:

7.such as用來列舉同類人或事物中的幾個例子,有時可與like互換,但such as用于列舉時可分開使用。而for example一般只舉同類人或物中的“一個”為例,作插入語,用逗號隔開,可置于句首句中或句末。

1.be into sth.對……感興趣,非常喜歡……(非正式英語)
eg: i'm not into classical music.
2.be fond of酷愛,非常喜歡,與enjoy相近,比like感情強。
eg: in his life, he is fond of english.
3.boring主語為物,如:
the book is boring.
bored主語為人,如:
he is bored.
4.survive幸存;活下來;殘存;繼續存在。
he survived the traffic accident.
only three hundred houses survived the earthquake in that city.
survive作不及物動詞,表示“殘存;留傳”的意思。
the custom still survives in that small village.

不定式在間接引語中的運用
祈使句變為間接引語時要將祈使句中的動詞原形改為不定式,并在不定式前加上動詞ask/tell/order等;若直接引語中的祈使句表示的是命令的口氣,間接引語用tell/order; 若祈使句是否定式,則在不定式前加否定詞not, 即tell/order sb. not to do sth.如:
"don't smoke in the room,"he said.
he told me not to smoke in the room.
若直接引語中表示的是請求的口氣,間接引語用ask,如:
"please give the bird clean water every day."my friend said.
my friend asked me to give the bird clean water every day.
"could you help me with my homework?"she said.
she asked me to help her with her homework.
當直接引語是疑問句時,在轉變為間接引語時,應運用疑問詞+不定式,在句中作賓語。如:
"when shall we start?"he asked.
he wanted to know when to start.

a number of+可數名詞的復數形式,如:
