get through 及物或不及物用法，意為：通過，完成，

have you got through your homework?
你完成作業(yè)了嗎?
注：get through 后接 with 只有“完成”，沒有“通過”的
意思，如：
i got through with the examination, but i didn't get
through.
我完成了考試，但沒有通過。
(2) go through 及物用法，意為：穿過，仔細(xì)查看，瀏
覽，經(jīng)歷(苦難)
go through the papers and find out useful information.
瀏覽一下這些報(bào)紙，找出有用的信息。
he went through untold hardship in the war.
戰(zhàn)爭中這位老人受盡了苦難。
(3) live through 經(jīng)歷，度過
the old man lived through two wars in life.
老人一生中經(jīng)歷了兩次戰(zhàn)爭。
he possibly can't live through this winter.
他可能活不過這個(gè)冬天。
試比較：he can't possibly get through this winter.
他可能挨不過這個(gè)冬天。
☆句型詮釋☆
1. i prefer living in a modern flat.
prefer 后可接不定式或動(dòng)名詞，意思區(qū)別不大，但搭
配不一樣，分別為prefer to do...rather than do...；
prefer doing...to doing...
i prefer to stay home rather than go out.
= i prefer staying hometo going out.
prefer后面還可以接名詞，如：
i prefer a double room to a single one.
我寧可住雙人間也不住單人間。
2. i wouldn't feel happy living in a block of apartments.
住在一座公寓里我是不會(huì)感到高興的。
句中現(xiàn)在分詞短語 living in a block of apartments 在
句中作狀語，表示一個(gè)非真實(shí)的情況：要是我住在一
座公寓樓里(實(shí)際上我沒有住在公寓樓里)，有了這
么一個(gè)非真實(shí)的情況(條件)，所以句中使用了虛擬
語氣 (wouldn't feel)。

假如你妻子聽到你說這些，她不會(huì)高興的。(實(shí)際上
沒聽到)
